Ridgemont Resources, Inc. in New York City is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our private breast imaging practice.

You will perform 3D digital mammography, collaborate with radiologists, and ensure high-quality images and patient care in a supportive, team-oriented environment. The role requires ARRT certification in Mammography, registration, and at least two years' experience, with a focus on MQSA compliance and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• ARRT Registration R.T.(R) is required.
• ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) required.
• State Department of Radiation Control License (if applicable).
• Maintain registry status and continuing education.
• Minimum two years of mammography experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform mammograms and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammograms.
• Apply analytical skills to interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
• Accurately complete all patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation.
• Complete medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results, escalating as needed.
• Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements.
• Adhere to continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.

The Mammography Technologist performs 3D digital mammography to assist in the diagnosis of disease in the OBGYN office. Must be able to work independently without supervision and have excellent problem-solving skills.

• Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements.
