The position focuses on quality control, documentation, and supporting departmental regulatory readiness within Radiology. Requires Radiologic Technology program completion, Ohio licensure, and ARRT certification.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Active Ohio Radiology Licensure required.
  • Current ARRT certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and perform mammography and breast imaging procedures with high-quality images.
  • Ensure compliance with ACR accreditation and FDA MQSA requirements.

Mammography QA Tech / Radiology / Full Time /Days

The Mammography QA Tech is responsible for delivering high quality mammography and breast imaging services while ensuring full compliance with ACR accreditation and FDA MQSA requirements, promoting patient safety and comfort, and supporting departmental quality, efficiency, and regulatory readiness. The Mammography QA Tech is an onsite position.

Essential Functions
  • Coordinates and maintains mammography quality control and assurance activities to ensure ongoing compliance with ACR accreditation and FDA MQSA requirements.
  • Performs all mammography and breast imaging procedures, including screening, diagnostic, augmented, localization, and biopsy procedures, producing high‑quality diagnostic images using prescribed standards.
  • Maintains all required accreditation, quality assurance, technical, and clinical documentation in an accurate, complete, and audit‑ready manner.
  • Ensures patient safety, identification, and care by verifying identity, obtaining clinical history, explaining procedures, and applying radiation protection, sterile technique, and ethical standards.
  • Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to support our culture of safety.
  • Works hours per week in accordance with offer letter or per attributes of position at transfer request. May be expected to work longer hours as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Education: Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program

License: Current Ohio Radiology Licensure

Experience: None

Certification
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification
  • BLS within 7 days of hire
