Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Senior Radiology Technologist - Mammography to deliver high-quality breast imaging within a patient-centered care model. This onsite role involves performing screening and diagnostic mammograms, mentoring junior technologists, and supporting quality improvement and accreditation efforts.

You will collaborate with radiologists and care teams, adhere to MQSA/ACR standards, and maintain imaging quality and safety while providing compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• High-quality breast imaging experience
• Strong knowledge of MQSA and ACR standards
• Ability to mentor junior technologists and collaborate with radiologists

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams following standards
• Position patients effectively and operate digital mammography equipment and PACS systems
• Verify orders, document patient history, and ensure accurate imaging protocols
• Educate and support patients with compassion, privacy, and cultural sensitivity
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and care teams to optimize imaging and workflow
• Maintain imaging equipment, perform quality control checks, and report issues promptly
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection prevention protocols
• Assist with accreditation, audits, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technologists and students
• Participate in ongoing education to maintain credentials and skills
