Job summary

Memorial Medical Center Las Cruces, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Mammography Coordinator to oversee daily Radiology Department operations, act as systems super user, monitor productivity, manage Kronos timekeeping, charge reconciliation, QC and performance improvement, and supervise students.

You will work with radiologists and staff to ensure proper exams, patient safety, and adherence to protocol, while maintaining equipment and facilitating smooth patient flow across modalities.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography certification required.
• ARRT Mammography certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with daily radiology department operations and acts as systems super user.
• Monitors productivity and assists with timekeeping (Kronos).
• Handles charge entry and reconciliation, QC and performance improvement.
• Supervises students and supports radiologists/physicians during procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of contrast media and medications per protocol.
• Ensures sterile techniques and time-out procedures are followed.
• Coordinates communication with radiologists and ancillary departments.
• Performs clerical duties and supports patient transport as needed.
