Mercy is seeking a Mammography Manager to supervise the mammography section within the radiology department, ensuring high-quality imaging services and adherence to QC standards. The role involves coordinating with radiologists and staff, guiding problem resolution, and contributing to budgeting and policy development.

Responsibilities include interviewing, counseling, staff evaluations, and involvement in training programs, with opportunities to work on new procedures and equipment assessments.

Qualificações

• Formal training in mammography and registry by the credentialing body.
• Proficiency in personnel management and departmental administration.
• State licensure may be required depending on practice location.
• Minimum of one year of mammography experience.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise activities and operations of the mammography section in radiology.
• Apply quality control standards and review service quality regularly.
• Collaborate with radiologists and staff to ensure appropriate imaging services.
• Interview, counsel, and conduct performance appraisals; assist in hiring/firing.
• Assist with budgeting, inventory, purchases, and record keeping.
• Provide leadership for staff education and policy formulation.
