Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic and screening mammography in accordance with ACR and NJ standards. You will be responsible for image labeling, immobilization, and appropriate technical factors while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The role requires ARRT licensure, NJ state license, and proficiency with EPIC EMR. The team emphasizes accuracy, communication, and quality assurance within a collaborative healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED.
• Graduate of AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Must pursue and maintain ARRT licensure and pass exam.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and screening mammograms per ACR/NJ guidelines.
• Provide immobilization devices and set proper technical factors.
• Operate equipment for specified procedures and ensure correct labeling of images.
• Assist with quality control, QC documentation, and calibration tests.
• Document in EPIC and maintain patient privacy and communication at patient level.
• Adhere to shielding protocols and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms.
