Job summary

WellStar is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with mammography experience to join our imaging team in Georgia. The candidate will perform exams, position patients, ensure image quality and safety, and adhere to department procedures.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, proper marker usage, reviews, and participation in QA and regulatory standards. Requires ARRT Mammography and Radiography, accredited program, and 1 year experience.

Qualifications

• Requires accreditation in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Mammography and Radiography certifications required on hire.
• Minimum 1 year experience in radiology and specific mammography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain complete patient history and assess contraindications.
• Ensure proper patient identification and correct side markers.
• Review radiographs for quality and release for interpretation.
• Respond to emergencies and use critical thinking.
• Operate radiographic equipment safely and maintain infection control.
