Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks a Radiologic Technologist with Mammography expertise to perform and assist in radiographic exams. The role requires accurate patient identification, high-quality imaging, and safety in line with department procedures.

Candidate should have an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT Mammography and Radiography certifications, and preferably 1 year of Mammography experience. The position is full-time and on-site in Jonesboro, GA, with total rewards for staff.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• ARRT Mammography and Radiography certifications required upon hire.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Mammography preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain complete clinical history and assess contraindications.
• Ensure proper patient identification and correct marker use.
• Review radiographic images for quality before release.
• Respond to emergencies and use critical thinking.
• Follow RBAC when taking verbal orders and follow physician instructions.
