Job summary

WellStar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in Mammography to join our imaging team. You will perform and assist with diagnostic exams, ensure image quality, maintain patient comfort and safety, and support continuous quality improvements.

Required: Accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-Mammography and ARRT-R radiography certifications, BLS, and at least 1 year of radiography experience; strong communication and multitasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARRT Mammography and ARRT Radiography certifications.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience; mammography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain clinical history and assess contraindications.
• Ensure patient identifiers and markers are correct.
• Review images for quality and release patient.
• Respond to emergencies and use critical thinking.
• Support other modalities as needed.
• Organize schedule and follow safety procedures.
