Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform imaging studies with accuracy in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging department. The role operates across Greenwich Hospital locations as needed and requires ARRT registration and mammography certification, plus active CT X-ray licensure.

Candidates must demonstrate patient-centered care, the ability to work with physicians and radiologists, and a commitment to quality control and CQI activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiography or Allied Health program with 12 months of radiography instruction.
• ARRT registered and CE compliant; advanced mammography certification (M).
• Current CT state X-ray license; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging studies and verification in PACS following orders and department policies.
• Maintain clean, quiet professional atmosphere and assist physicians.
• Assist radiologists with specialty procedures (stereo, needle localization, ductography).
• Perform quality control and CQI activities when requested.
• Contribute to department productivity and punctuality; work off-shifts when needed.
