Job summary

Washington Radiology in Germantown, MD seeks a Mammography Technologist for full-time work. The position offers a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and relocation assistance for qualified technologists.

Location is Germantown with hours Monday–Friday and compensation range $45.00–$55.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Required credentials include ARRT radiography certification and MQSA-qualified status or registry eligibility, plus state licensure.

Qualifications

• Formal radiologic technology training program and ARRT Radiography certification completed.
• ARRT Mammography advanced certification with clinical experience or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible.
• Current continuing education and experience as required by MQSA and ARRT.
• Must possess non-restricted licensure in state of work location.
• Knowledge of RIS/PACS software preferred.
• Two years of mammography experience preferred.

A Day In The Life Of a Mammography Technologist

• Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way

Here Is What You Will Need

• Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current certification by ARRT in Radiography;
• ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible;
• Current on all required continuing education and continuing experience as required by MQSA and ARRT;
• Must possess non-restricted licensure in state work location;
• Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software is preferred;
• Two years of experience in mammography is preferred;
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred;
• Prior quality control experience preferred;
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology;
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
