A Day In The Life

• Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way
• Consistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique
• Effectively communicates procedures and educates women about regular mammography and preventative breast health
• Communicates with doctors, patients and other employees on an individual and small group basis
• Applies common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated written or oral instructions
• Maintains patient‑first focus at all times and exhibits outstanding customer service skills
• Performs other work‑related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and current certification by ARRT in Radiography
• ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible
• Current on all required continuing education and continuing experience as required by MQSA and ARRT
• High School Diploma; Associate’s degree preferred
• Non‑restricted licensure in state work location
• Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software is preferred
• Two years of experience in mammography preferred
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred
• Prior quality control experience preferred
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
