Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform specialized breast examinations and operate mammography radiographic equipment.

Qualifications include AMA/JRCERT-approved radiologic program, ARRT registrations (Radiography and Mammography) upon hire, BCLS, and 0–1 year of Mammography experience preferred. AMA accreditation and hospital-based training meeting the standard are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required.
• 1 year experience as Mammography Technologist preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT Radiography registration required.
• Mammography ARRT registration required upon hire.
• BCLS – Basic Life Support required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized mammography examinations to aid in diagnosis and treatment of breast disease.
• Operate mammographic radiographic equipment and related devices as appropriate.
