Piedmont Healthcare in Georgia is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform breast imaging, including screening and diagnostic exams, with attention to patient positioning and image quality.

The role requires AMA approved Radiologic Technology education (JRCERT accredited preferred), ARRT Radiography and Mammography registrations, and BLS. No experience required; one year of Mammography experience is a plus; strong patient service and regulatory compliance are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Performs quality screening, diagnostic and other mammography procedures.
• Reviews all exam requisitions for pertinent information and makes notes on all additional pertinent information.
• Demonstrates competence and proficiency in performing all required exams on patients, positioning the patient and equipment, selecting the protocol, technique and utilizing all required equipment.
• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality, obtaining additional images as needed.
• Ensures accuracy of each exam by following established procedures and labeling images correctly.
• Provide Customer Service/Support to patient population.
• Maintains all required records, reports, and files as required by Federal, State and other regulatory agencies.
• Must be competent and proficient to position, select correct protocol and utilize imaging equipment on patients of all age groups for radiological exams, when requested.

Responsibilities

The Mammography Technologist performs specialized examinations of the breast to help in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in patients. The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic radiographic equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate.

• (R) ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer Registered Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (R) - ARRT Upon Hire Required and
• (M) ARDMS or ARRT - Mammography (M) - ARRT Upon Hire Required and
• BLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
