Job summary

VF Corporation's Vans brand in Louisville, KY is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leadership to deliver exceptional customer engagement and drive sales performance.

You will coach associates, model the Vans voice, and sustain an inclusive, consumer-centric environment while managing shifts, breaks, and daily store operations. This is a part-time role with incentive opportunities and VF benefits eligibility where applicable.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels.
• Solution-oriented and flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
• Capable of working independently, managing shifting priorities, and meeting business expectations.
• Comfortable using word processing, spreadsheets, and retail software tools.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting light to moderate weight, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high level of personalized customer engagement through genuine interactions.
• Assist in maximizing and achieving store sales and goals by monitoring sales progress against key targets.
• Foster a consumer centric mindset and an inclusive store environment, while modeling selling behaviors through genuine interactions with consumers.
• Assist in providingdirectfeedback, coachingand supervision of the associates.
• Occasionally assume responsibility for the store in the absence of another manager. This may include covering breaks, meal periods or opening the store without a supervisor or manager.
• Regularly interact with consumers within the store, providing a high level of customer service.
• Provide actionable feedback to store associates and adhere to policies, procedures and practices that align with company directives.
