Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator for a shopping mall in Elmont, NY. The role supports a 24/7 security operation, monitoring CCTV, alarms and communications systems, and coordinating with security teams from the Control Room.

Part-time shifts include Afternoon and Overnight, with flexibility across Monday through Sunday. Strong documentation and reporting practices are essential for incident logging and maintenance requests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Must possess one or more of the following: military or public safety related experience or education.
• 8+ years of military or protective services experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security, fire/life safety systems and CCTV within the designated region.
• Respond to events and emergencies; communicate clearly and provide guidance.
• Serve as liaison between security departments and other units.
• Document routine and unusual events and maintain logs and reports.
• Operate and control surveillance equipment and alarm systems.
