Job summary

CBL Properties in Laredo, TX is seeking a Marketing Director for Mall del Norte to lead marketing strategies, events, and partnerships that drive guest experience and revenue. You will oversee local and company-wide programs, coordinate with mall management, leasing, and corporate marketing, and act as the face of the property in media and community events.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years in marketing/PR, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, strong digital marketing and sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, public relations or marketing with at least 3 years of experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• CMD preferred.
• Proven digital marketing experience.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel occasionally overnight.
• Ability to build relationships with retailers and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead local and company-wide marketing programs for assigned centers.
• Develop short and long-term marketing strategies with mall teams.
• Create community events and partnerships to drive traffic and revenue.
• Manage media relations and act as spokesperson when needed.
• Write and distribute press releases and generate monthly PR reports.
• Create local social media content following brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with leasing, management, and corporate marketing.
• Travel as needed.
