Job summary

The Maintenance Technician at Mall at Johnson City reports to the Operations Manager and performs repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations, while keeping building and equipment in good condition and reducing repair costs.

Responsibilities include carpentry, drywall, tiling, painting, basic plumbing/electrical, HVAC upkeep, snow removal, lawn care, safety compliance, and cooperation with vendors and tenants.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical school or training preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ work experience in maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Basic and varied carpentry, drywall repair/painting, tile repair/replacement, flooring repair & replacement, basic plumbing, and basic electrical duties.
• Routine and preventative maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
• Snow removal.
• Lawn/grounds care.
• Minor parking lot repair and maintenance.
• Basic HVAC maintenance.
• Assist other departments with special events, set-ups, and requests.
• Adherence to OSHA requirements.
• Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned by the Senior Maintenance Technician or the Operations Manager.
