Job summary

Downtown Flavortown PF is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee the mall’s facilities, equipment, and daily operations. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to repair requests, and support tenant and staff safety. The role covers electrical, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and general building upkeep, with potential evening or weekend shifts.

Travel within the Myrtle Beach Market may be required. A valid driver’s license and strong troubleshooting skills are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be 18+ and have a valid Driver's License.
2+ years of maintenance experience in commercial or retail facilities preferred.
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and customer service skills.
physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and mechanical systems.
Complete preventative maintenance tasks according to schedule.
Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment and building components.
Replace lighting, ceiling tiles, flooring, fixtures, and hardware as needed.
Maintain common areas, restrooms, food court areas, and exterior grounds.
Diagnose and repair minor electrical issues (outlets, breakers, lighting systems).
Assist with HVAC system monitoring and minor repairs.
Maintain coordinated relationships with contractors and vendors.
Coordinate with mall management and tenants for service needs.
