Eurest, a leading provider of business dining solutions, seeks a Café & Retail Manager to run the retail/cafeteria operation within a retail mall environment. You will plan, supervise, and optimize cash controls, payroll, staffing, and customer satisfaction while partnering with marketing and culinary teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of supervision in food service, strong financial acumen, and knowledge of coffee and retail trends.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree preferred, or A.A. Degree plus related experience.
• Three or more years supervisory experience in food service operations.
• Knowledge of retail, food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Leadership, management and coaching skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.
• ServSafe Certified.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily administrative and operational tasks.
• Handles staff management and scheduling.
• Manages all financials including budget development, forecasting and reporting.
• Maintains knowledge of market trends and client needs.
• Controls costs and ensures sanitation and safety standards.
• Opens and closes unit, ensures accurate payroll and inventory.
• Rolls out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
• Acts as liaison with client.
