Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking an HHA/CNA in Bradenton, FL. You will provide patient care under nursing supervision, including bathing, grooming, and vital signs, while supporting daily activities and transportation as needed.

Qualifications include a current CNA, CPR, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. Prior health care experience is preferred; we offer flexible schedules and weekly pay with direct deposit.

Qualifications

• Current, valid CNA certification in good standing.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of a nursing assistant program.
• CPR certification and TB test or chest x-ray current.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred.
• Licensed driver with insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Providing care as directed by a nursing supervisor: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, toileting, vital signs.
• Assisting with daily tasks per care plan: meals, laundry, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments.

Responsibilities

• Providing care as directed by a nursing supervisor: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, taking and recording vital signs, and assisting with height and weight measurements, if necessary.
• Providing care according to the patient's plan of care, assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, providing transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping.

Requirements

• Current, valid state certification and in good standing.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of a nursing assistant program.
• CurrentCPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Minimum one (1) year of documented health care experience is preferred.
• Licensed driver with the insured and reliable automobile.
