Job summary

ASG Home Care is hiring an Overnight Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings across New Jersey. This role involves overnight, one-on-one support following each client’s ISP.

The position emphasizes independence, community engagement, and daily living skills, with CPR/First Aid certification encouraged. Prior caregiving experience is preferred but not required, and a valid driver’s license is recommended.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

Position Overview as a Overnight Direct Support Professional

As a Overnight Direct Support Professional with ASG Home Care, you will provide hands-on support that promotes independence, community engagement, and daily living success. As a Overnight Direct Support Professional, you will work one-on-one with individuals in both home and community settings while following each person's Individualized Service Plan (ISP).

Key Responsibilities as a Overnight Direct Support Professional

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities

• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
