Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Test Equipment IPTL to lead the MALD program in Tucson, AZ. You will oversee a multidisciplinary team of electrical, mechanical, software, and systems engineers, managing cost and schedule and delivering TE to production.

This onsite role requires a U.S. government security clearance, CAM certification, and a Bachelor’s in STEM with 8+ years of relevant experience; you will support TE BOEs, proposals, and TDP releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Technical Data Package (TDP) management and development.
• Experience coordinating across multi-disciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, systems, and test equipment).
• CAM certification and demonstrated ability to manage cost and schedules against plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidiscipline team of electrical, mechanical, software, and systems engineers and support personnel.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and knowledge transfer across IPTLs.
• Provide status and technical updates to program management, chief engineers, customers, and stakeholders.
• Act as a Control Account Manager (CAM) for test equipment, monitoring cost and schedule to meet targets.
• Drive timely execution of engineering scope and align priorities with program needs.
• Mentor engineers and share process knowledge to build team capabilities.
• Manage TE priorities, workloads, and development projects, following TE processes.
• Review and release the Technical Data Package (TDP) with accurate models and drawings.
• Participate in proposals, develop estimates, and represent the TE team to customers.
