Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Test Equipment IPTL for the MALD program. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, manage TE development and transition to production, and drive cost and schedule with CAM oversight.

The role requires a STEM bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, CAM certification, and an active DoD Secret clearance plus U.S. citizenship. Onsite work in Tucson is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Technical Data Package (TDP) management and development.
• Experience coordinating across multi-disciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, systems, and test equipment).
• Control Account Manager (CAM) certification.
• Experience developing project plans and managing cost and schedules against the plan.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-discipline team of electrical, mechanical, software, and system engineers, and support personnel.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and knowledge transfer across IPTLs.
• Provide status and technical updates to program management, chief engineers, customers, and other key stakeholders.
• Act as a Control Account Manager (CAM) for the test equipment, proactively monitoring and controlling cost and schedule.
• Drive timely execution of engineering scope to address design challenges and align priorities with program and prime teams.
• Mentor engineers and share program process knowledge to build team capabilities.
• Manage priorities and workloads of the TE team and development projects.
• Follow TE development processes and procedures.
• Ensure Technical Data Package (TDP) is reviewed and released timely; include models, drawings, and docs.
• Participate in proposal efforts, developing estimates, and representing TE to the customer.
