Job summary

RTX's Air & Space Defense Systems organization in Tucson, AZ is hiring a Test Equipment IPTL for the MALD program. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and support staff, manage cost and schedule, and drive TE development from design through production.

You will prepare TE BOEs, participate in proposals, and ensure the TE transition from development to production while maintaining program rigor. Onsite role, security cleared required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with TDP management and development.
• Experience coordinating across mechanical, electrical, systems, and test equipment teams.
• CAM certification preferred.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and support personnel.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and knowledge transfer across IPTLs.
• Provide status updates to program management, chief engineers, and customers.
• Act as CAM, monitoring cost and schedule to meet targets.
• Drive timely execution of engineering scope and address design challenges.
• Mentor engineers and share program process knowledge.
• Manage TE priorities, staffing, and development projects.
• Follow TE development processes and release of Technical Data Package (TDP).
• Participate in proposals, develop estimates, and represent TE to customers.
