Job summary

High Plains Library District's Library Innovation Center in Greeley, CO seeks a part-time staff member to assist patrons with information needs and to guide them in using makerspace equipment, woodworking tools, and related software.

Responsibilities include technology instruction, in-branch programming, tool maintenance, and helping promote community engagement. Associate’s degree and one year of related experience required; fluent Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of related library/maker-space experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons in using industrial, maker, and innovation equipment.
• Provide technology instruction and conduct safety trainings.
• Develop and deliver in-branch programming and community outreach.
• Maintain and troubleshoot makerspace tools and equipment.
• Support website content and promotional displays.
