Job summary

LINC Library Innovation Center in Greeley, CO, seeks a dynamic team member to assist patrons with information needs and to guide use of makerspace and workshop equipment. You will support technology instruction and help plan in-branch programs for diverse community members.

Responsibilities include maintenance of tools, collaboration with staff, and promoting library resources. Spanish speakers are preferred to assist a broader community of users.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Experience in library reference and patron support preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish fluently (preferred).
• Knowledge of library technologies and equipment relevant to makerspace environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons with information needs and equipment in the makerspace and shop.
• Provide technology instruction and training referrals.
• Plan and support in-branch programming and community engagement.
• Assist with maintenance and safe operation of tools and equipment.
• Support website content, displays, and department promotions.
