Job summary

NORY in New York, NY is seeking a Maker & Operations Assistant to support teachers and campers behind the scenes. This hands-on role helps ensure enrichment materials and kits are ready, organized, and delivered on time.

You will work 20–25 hours per week at 100% in-person, with $17.00 per hour, bi-weekly pay, and seasonal/part-time benefits. No prior warehouse experience required; training provided, plus opportunities to learn basic tools and hands-on making.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 20+ lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible part-time schedule and in-person NYC work location.

Responsibilities

• Materials & Kit Preparation: Sort, assemble, pack, and prepare enrichment program materials.
• Workspace & Office Organization: Maintain a clean, organized central inventory workspace.
• Logistics Support: Assist with counting inventory and preparation of local shipments or deliveries.
