Job summary

Keener Management LLC in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Make Ready Technician to assist the Lead Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the property's safety, cleanliness, and readiness for new residents.

This role requires knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC basics, completion of the make-ready checklist, and availability for a minimum of 40 hours per week including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must attain a minimum of 70% or greater on the Maintenance Tech Qualification Test.
• Position requires at least 1 year experience in property maintenance or equivalent field.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, appliances, plumbing, carpentry, plastering, pool systems, drywall repair, painting, and HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Conducts all business in accordance with established company policies and procedures, state and federal laws, e.g., OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing laws, etc.
• Complete make ready checklist and all other required maintenance documentation in a timely manner as required by the Lead Maintenance Technician and/or Community Manager.
• Change locks and make keys, as requested.
• Removes and transfers heavy appliances and equipment from storage area to apartment (or vice versa).
• Assists in moving abandoned furniture, appliances, etc. to dumpster when necessary.
