Job summary

Valiant Residential in Austin, TX is seeking a Make Ready to restore vacated apartments to market‑ready status in a timely manner according to management timelines. You will inspect units, perform repairs, replace fixtures, install tiles, and assist with trash-out, requiring at least one year of related experience and strong English communication.

Qualifications

Minimum one year of full-time related experience.
Must be able to perform all required tasks with a strong work ethic.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
Maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Able to work on call and extended hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

Inspect vacated apartments and complete a make-ready checklist.
Perform make-ready tasks: replace lights, fixtures, windows, doors, shelving, baseboards, mirrors, closets, faucets, and tiles as needed.
Check appliances and inform Lead maintenance of problems; assist with appliance removal/reinstallation.
Install ceramic tile backsplash in kitchen and replace washers.
Lend assistance during trash-out and assist with other projects as directed.
