Job summary

Gaines Investment Trust is seeking a dependable Make Ready Technician to join Estancia Apartments in Tulsa. You will prepare vacant homes by completing repairs, painting, touch-ups, and other make-ready work to meet standards before move-in.

This hands-on role requires attention to detail, independent work, and collaboration with the maintenance team to keep the community well-kept and safe. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Make-ready, apartment maintenance, painting or related experience preferred.
• General knowledge of painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and basic repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and complete projects on schedule.
• Dependable, organized, and team-oriented.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Residence within a reasonable commute of Estancia Apartments (20-30 minutes preferred)

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents
• Complete painting, touch-ups, drywall repairs, and minor carpentry
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general repairs
• Inspect apartment homes and identify items needing repair or replacement
• Complete make-ready work efficiently and to company standards
• Assist the maintenance team with service requests and property needs as needed
• Maintain tools, supplies, and a clean, organized work area
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and well-kept community
