Job summary

Gaines Investment Trust is seeking a dependable Make Ready Technician to join our team at Estancia Apartments in Tulsa. You will prepare apartment homes for new residents by completing repairs, painting, touch-ups, and other make-ready work to ensure each home meets our standards before move-in.

This hands-on role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently, with a focus on quality workmanship and timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Make-ready, apartment maintenance, construction, painting, or related experience preferred.
• General knowledge of painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and basic repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and complete projects on schedule.
• Dependable, organized, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents
• Complete painting, touch-ups, drywall repairs, and minor carpentry
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general repairs
• Inspect apartment homes and identify items needing repair or replacement
• Complete make-ready work efficiently and to company standards
• Assist the maintenance team with service requests and property needs as needed
• Maintain tools, supplies, and a clean, organized work area
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and well-kept community

Compensation: $19–$22 per hour, based on experience, plus monthly performance bonuses

The Opportunity

Gaines Investment Trust is seeking a dependable Make Ready Technician to join our team at Estancia Apartments in Tulsa.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys seeing the results. You'll prepare apartment homes for new residents by completing repairs, painting, touch‑ups, and other make‑ready work to ensure each home meets our standards before move‑in.

What You'll Do

• Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents
• Complete painting, touch‑ups, drywall repairs, and minor carpentry
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general repairs

What We're Looking For

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
• Residence within a reasonable commute of Estancia Apartments (20–30 minutes preferred)
