Job summary

Abbey Residential Services, Inc. is seeking a Make Ready Technician in Houston, TX to prepare apartment homes for move-in readiness. The role involves hands-on maintenance, appliance handling, and light renovations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of multifamily maintenance or make-ready experience
• HVAC certification preferred
• Detail-oriented and organized with strong time management

Responsibilities

• Assist with moving and replacing appliances
• Inspect, repair, or replace faucets, sinks, bathtubs, tiles, and plugs
• Perform light painting, drywall patching, and caulking
• Replace or repair ceiling fans, blinds, light fixtures, and more
• Change HVAC filters and report issues to the Maintenance Supervisor
• Clean carpets using commercial equipment
• Assist with apartment trash-outs and property grounds upkeep
• Support the team with after-hours on-call maintenance (rotation)
