Job summary

Two Coast Living is seeking a Make-Ready Technician on-site at The Halstead in Houston, TX. You will prepare vacant apartments by performing maintenance, cosmetic repairs, and cleaning to company standards to ensure move-in readiness.

This role collaborates with the Maintenance and Property Management teams and provides a clear path to the Maintenance Technician role after 12+ months of consistent high performance, with a day schedule and occasional on-call based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or make-ready/turnover work.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment turnover (make-ready) work, including painting, surface repairs, fixture replacement, appliance testing, HVAC filter changes, flooring and carpet touch-ups, and general cleaning.
• Ensure apartments meet company quality and safety standards prior to move-in.
• Support the maintenance team with ongoing repairs, preventative maintenance, and property upkeep as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company and industry safety standards.
• Interact professionally and courteously with residents and team members while working throughout the community.
