Job summary

Westdale is seeking a Service Technician I for our Greenway Plaza community in Houston. You will turn vacant units into ready apartments and maintain the property grounds, contributing to an energetic team with opportunities to advance.

The role requires at least 1 year of maintenance experience on an apartment community, physical capability for the job, and the ability to follow directions in a fast-paced, customer-service oriented environment. Flexible on-call weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience on an apartment community.
• Must meet physical requirements and be able to take direction.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Able to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Performing minor repairs and maintenance.
• Completing a duties checklist to ensure vacant apartments are move-in ready.
• Walking the property grounds and common areas and picking up trash and debris.
• Performing any additional duties assigned by the Community Manager and/or Service Supervisor.
