Venterra Realty is seeking a Make Ready Technician at The Harrison to prepare vacant apartments for new residents, performing repairs, cleaning, and ensuring all features are in working order under the TQMR program.

Responsibilities include basic maintenance tasks, painting, carpet cleaning, and groundskeeping while supporting the maintenance team and meeting resident satisfaction. Daily travel within a 25-mile radius of the primary location is required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in make-ready, maintenance, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple unit turns efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to maintaining company standards.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including participation in an on-call rotation.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record required.
• Lifting/carrying up to 75 lbs; occasional 25–75 lbs; constant 1–25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by repairs, cleaning, and ensuring features meet TQMR standards.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks, including light fixture replacements, minor plumbing repairs, appliance checks, and drywall patching.
• Assist with painting, carpet cleaning, and exterior touch-ups; maintain inventory and support work orders and groundskeeping as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and curb appeal of the property, including grounds, parking lots, breezeways, amenities, and common areas.
• Work independently while following company standards and maintaining resident satisfaction.
• Provide emergency and on-call maintenance support as needed.
• Support the team with other duties to maintain resident satisfaction and property standards.
• Travel daily to assigned communities within a region, typically within a 25-mile radius.
