The Make Ready Technician at The Baxly in Savannah, GA ensures vacant units are cleaned, repaired, and prepared for new residents. You will perform painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC tasks and coordinate with supervisors to meet move-in readiness.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of maintenance experience, HVAC certification is a plus, and a valid driver’s license. This role requires teamwork, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC certification (Type 1/2 or Universal) preferred.
• Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clear out and dispose of items left behind after move-out.
• Complete make-ready tasks per move-out checklist including painting.
• Perform new move-in service requests per move-in checklist.
