Job summary

AMLI Residential is seeking a Make Ready Technician for our luxury apartment community in Atlanta. The role involves restoring vacated units to make-ready status, diagnosing and repairing issues across drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, and more.

You will inspect apartments, replace or repair components, test fixtures, assist with painting, and create new keys on move-in. On-call rotations and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance and repair (painting, drywall, basic electrical, plumbing).
• On-call availability for evening and weekend rotations.
• Valid driver’s license for on-call work.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete checklists to ensure they are make-ready.
• Replace or repair windows, latches, screens, hinges, doors, shelves, baseboards, mirrors, and more.
• Test faucets and sinks; repair or replace as necessary; perform exterior repairs for sinks/tubs.
• Assist with painting and drywall repairs.
• Make new keys and replace vacancy lock on move-in day.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team for cleaning and grounds-keeping duties.

Ready to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment?

As a Make Ready Technician , your expertise will be key in ensuring all vacated apartments are restored to "make-ready" status. You will diagnose and make repairs across a variety of areas, including drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, carpentry, and appliance repairs. If you’re someone who loves hands-on work and enjoys problem-solving, this role is for you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete checklists to ensure they are "make-ready".


• Replace or repair windows, latches, screens, hinges, sliding glass doors, shelves, baseboards, mirrors, closets, curtains, mini-blinds, ceiling fans, lights, and more!


• Test faucets, sink plugs , and repair or replace them as necessary. Perform exterior repairs for sinks, bathtubs, and more when needed.


• Assist with painting and drywall repairs.


• Make new keys when requested. Replace the vacancy lock (if applicable) on the day the lock is changed for a new resident move-in.


• Collaborate with the entire maintenance team for cleaning and grounds-keeping duties.
