Job summary

The Legacy Apartments in San Antonio, TX is hiring a Full Time Make Ready Technician. You will prepare vacants for market readiness, assist the maintenance team, and ensure clean grounds while delivering excellent resident service.

Applicants must have 12+ months onsite experience, be bilingual in Spanish, and understand painting, keys/rekey, and appliance knowledge. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of onsite experience.
• Basic makeready skills.
• Proficiency in painting.
• Knowledge of how to make keys and rekey units.
• Familiar with appliances and their use.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods; lift up to 40 lbs, up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for market-ready status through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Maintain snow removal, cleaning and maintenance of grounds and common areas.
• Keep the property clean and free of trash and debris.
• Assist the maintenance team with light tasks as needed.

The Legacy Apartments is currently hiring a Full Time Make Ready Technician for our apartment community in San Antonio, TX.

Duties

• Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements
• Maintain snow removal, cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas
• Keep the property clean and free of trash and debris
• Assist the maintenance team with light tasks when needed
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service

Requirements

• At least 12 months of onsite experience
• Should have knowledge of painting
• Basic makeready skills
• Knowledge of how to make keys and rekey units
• Knowledge of appliances
• Able to frequently stand; walk for extended periods of time; push, pull, lift, carry or maneuver of up to 40 pounds independently and 100 pounds with assistance.
• Must be Bilingual (Spanish)
• Willing to work overtime as needed, on weekends as needed.
