Tarantino Properties is hiring a Porter / Make Ready in Houston, TX. You’ll prepare vacant apartments for market readiness by performing turn-over repairs and improvements, while maintaining grounds and common areas.

Responsibilities include cleaning, snow removal, trash control, and assisting the maintenance team. Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently or with a team, and physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs are valued.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of maintenance or custodial experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements.
• Maintain snow removal, cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service
• Keep the property clean and free of trash and debris
• Pick up trash around buildings, parking areas, and common spaces
• Clean breezeways, stairwells, and other shared areas
• Maintain dumpster and trash areas
• Assist the maintenance team with light tasks when needed
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management
• Help keep the community neat and welcoming for residents
