Falls of Braeswood Apartments in Southwest Houston is seeking a Porter/Make Ready to prep vacant units, perform light maintenance, and keep exterior and common areas clean. The role offers an opportunity to work closely with the maintenance team and provide excellent resident service.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in maintenance or custodial work, strong attention to detail, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and can work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in maintenance or custodial work.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to occasionally lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements.
• Maintain snow removal, cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas.
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
• Keep the property clean and free of trash and debris.
• Pick up trash around buildings, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Clean breezeways, stairwells, and other shared areas.
• Maintain dumpster and trash areas.
• Assist the maintenance team with light tasks when needed.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management.
• Help keep the community neat and welcoming for residents.
