Job summary

Maymont Homes is seeking a Manager, Make Ready to lead day-to-day vacant home turn execution across markets, ensuring leasing-ready homes on time, within scope and budget, and to company standards for Clean, Safe, and Functional. You will supervise Make Ready Technicians, manage schedules, and coordinate with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification, trade school, associate degree, bachelor's degree, or related education preferred.
• 5+ years of residential maintenance, construction, renovation, make-ready/turn, facilities, or property operations experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or team-leadership experience with technicians, field employees, contractors, or multi-site service operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, schedule, and performance-manage Make Ready Technicians, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and turn standards.
• Manage full-cycle make-ready execution across markets from move-out to leasing readiness, including inspection, scope development, scheduling, repairs, punch, and final QC.
• Review scopes, estimates, pricing, and change requests for accuracy and adherence to budgets and standards.
• Monitor turn costs, labor productivity, vendor usage, and recurring cost drivers; identify opportunities to improve sourcing and materials without sacrificing quality.
• Promote safety, coordinate with cross-functional teams to align readiness priorities and improve speed, cost, and resident experience.
