Qualifications

• Experience in make-ready or apartment maintenance preferred.
• Hands-on experience with painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, appliances, or carpentry is a plus.

• Complete assigned maintenance work orders.
• Assist with grounds, common areas, and curb appeal as needed.
• Work with the maintenance and office teams to ensure apartments are completed on schedule.
• Maintain tools, supplies, and work areas.
• Provide professional and courteous service to residents.

Compensation

$20 - $22 per hour, based on experience, plus monthly performance bonuses

The Opportunity

Gaines Investment Trust is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Make Ready Technician to join our team at Mission at La Villita Apartments in Irving.

This is a hands‑on opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys transforming vacant apartments into clean, welcoming homes for new residents.

What You'll Do

• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents and ensure homes are move‑in ready
• Complete painting, drywall repairs, caulking, cleaning, and general repairs
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and maintenance repairs
