Job summary

Tanglewood Apartments in Oak Creek, WI is seeking a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join our on-site operations team. You will restore vacant units to market-ready status and complete turns to meet move-in deadlines, performing repairs and basic carpentry and tile work as needed.

The role requires experience in building maintenance; HVAC experience is preferred. Tools must be owned by the applicant, and strong communication with residents is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance, drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair, or HVAC preferred, but training may be provided.
• HVAC certification or hands-on HVAC experience preferred, but training may be available.
• Must possess own tools and maintain a professional appearance according to policy.
• Ability to communicate with residents and co-workers professionally.

Responsibilities

• Restore vacant apartment homes to market-ready status.
• Complete full vacant turn process to meet move-in deadlines (drywall, painting, caulking, grouting).
• Repair or replace appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, locks, windows; basic carpentry and tile work.
• Complete administrative paperwork as necessary.
• Assist with snow and ice removal as required.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
