Job summary

Camden Development, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician to handle community maintenance requests and make-readies for move-ins. The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and proactive repairs to keep the community safe and welcoming.

Responsibilities include electrical and plumbing tasks, preventative maintenance, and coordinating with the maintenance supervisor. A Six months’ maintenance background and a high school diploma are preferred; trade certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Six months maintenance experience in property management or similar setting.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Ability to complete records and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with maintenance supervisor to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents and vendors.
• Identify safety issues and report or correct them promptly.
• Perform preventative maintenance on community equipment.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in, including repairs.
• Maintain community appearance, replace bulbs, and remove trash.
• Complete records in OneSite for service requests and make-readies.
• Perform electrical and plumbing work as required.
• Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, and other duties.
