Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Housekeeper to clean vacant units and common areas and to work with maintenance staff to ready properties for occupancy. You’ll work with the maintenance staff to ensure readiness for marketing and occupancy across models and apartments.

Daily duties include cleaning, reporting maintenance issues, assisting with inventory, and supporting move-ins; must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and work flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English to interact with team members, residents, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Must maintain valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work on call and extended hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Cleans the property business office, restrooms, laundry rooms, model apartments, and property common areas on a defined schedule.
• Cleans vacant apartment units in preparation for showing and occupancy.
• Report any maintenance problems to the supervisor.
• Assists with inventory control.
• Performs job duties using safety guidelines and reports obstacles to doing so.
• Make ready units for new move-ins and check appliances for issues.
