Gaines Investment Trust is seeking a dependable Make Ready Technician to join Greyson’s Gate Apartments in Dallas. You will prepare vacant homes for new residents through painting, drywall work, plumbing, and basic repairs, ensuring every unit meets our standards before move‑in.

The role emphasizes hands-on workmanship, independence, and teamwork to keep the property well‑maintained and safe. Experience in make‑ready tasks is preferred and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Make-ready, apartment maintenance, construction, painting, or related experience preferred
• General knowledge of painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and basic repairs
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and complete projects on schedule
• Dependable, organized, and team‑oriented

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents

Compensation: $19–$22 per hour, based on experience, plus monthly performance bonuses

The Opportunity

Gaines Investment Trust is seeking a dependable Make Ready Technician to join our team at Greyson’s Gate Apartments, a 272-unit community in Dallas.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys seeing the results. You'll prepare apartment homes for new residents by completing repairs, painting, touch‑ups, and other make‑ready work to ensure each home meets our standards before move‑in.

What You'll Do

• Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents
• Complete painting, touch‑ups, drywall repairs, and minor carpentry
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general repairs
