Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PA Act 24 Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification clearance required.
• Act 34 State Police Criminal History clearance required.
• Act 114 Federal Criminal History clearance required.
• Act 151 Child Abuse clearance required.
• Act 168 Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release required.
• Tuberculosis test completed as a minimum health requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional reinforcement for individual students or small groups.
• Assist teacher with classroom management and general supervision.
• Assist with administrative duties such as setting up equipment and preparing materials.
• Supervise students in various locations and programs.
• Attend to students' physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs.
• Support students with special needs per IEPs/504 Plans.
• Perform other duties as directed by the classroom teacher and school administration.
