Job summary

Troon's Princeville Makai Golf Club is hiring a full-time Makai Grill Attendant. No prior experience required; training provided. You will welcome guests, prepare and serve food and beverages, and help maintain a clean, organized work area.

You will handle POS transactions, assist with inventory, and ensure compliance with liquor laws. Position offers opportunities to learn in a fast-paced hospitality environment at a premier golf club.

Qualifications

• No experience required but will train.
• Must be able to meet age requirement for serving alcohol.
• Certified Food Handler's Card required.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Experience using Point of Sales (POS) systems.

Responsibilities

• Attends to guests promptly and personally.
• Prepares and serves food and beverages.
• Keeps work area organized and clean.
• Controls inventory and monitors food/beverage products.
• Receives deliveries and stores items properly.
• Orders supplies in coordination with manager.
• Stocks and inventories products.
• Answers guest questions about facility.
• Supports servers and beverage cart attendants.
• Keeps updated on liquor laws and SOPs.
• Relays guest concerns to management.
• Reviews daily schedules and events.
• Processes snack bar purchases with POS system.
• Handles cash and checks.
• Follows safe work practices.
• Performs other duties as required.

Princeville Makai Golf Club, located in Princeville, HI, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Makai Grill Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Pay Range:

$21.00-$23.65 per hour

This position also receives cash and credit card gratuities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient and personalized manner.


• Prepares and serves food and beverage items.


• Maintains organized and clean work area.


• Controls inventory through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food beverage products.


• Receives deliveries of product from vendors and ensures proper storage.


• Reports to department manager when supplies need to be ordered.


• Stocks and inventories products.


• Responds to customer questions regarding the general information of facility.


• Supplies support to food servers and beverage cart attendants to ensure excellent service to members and guests.


• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.


• Communicates guest concerns or comments immediately to the Director, Food and Beverage and Chef.


• Reviews schedule for changes, calendar of events and facility activities on a daily basis.


• Processes snack bar purchases with EZLinks point of sales(POS) system


• Accountable for cash and check transactions.


• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.


• Performs other duties as required.\\

Minimum Qualifications:

No Experience necessary but will train.

Must be able to meet age requirement for serving alcohol and has obtained Certified Food Handler's Card.
