  • Monitor project schedules, safety, administration, profitability, procurement, equipment, material availability, and quality of work, taking corrective action when required.
  • Identify and resolve client maintenance, procedural, financial, subcontractor, manpower, constructability, technical, legal, liability, and risk-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with owners, subcontractors, architects, engineering firms, and other key stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review project administration documentation, including project approaches, schedules, budgets, subcontracts, purchase orders, contractual notices, and change order requests.

  • Proactively prevent and resolve customer issues with a strong sense of urgency, escalating matters appropriately when necessary.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly project updates, client communications, reports, and presentations to key stakeholders.
  • Support a positive, collaborative team environment while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to financial, legal, ethical, and organizational policies.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects and additional operational initiatives as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent education and relevant professional experience may also be considered.
  • At least 5 years of project management experience, preferably involving commercial construction projects such as retail branches, banks, or retail facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction estimating, means and methods, accounting, project administration, and industry practices.
  • Familiarity with LEED certification requirements and sustainable construction practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to break complex projects into construction trade packages and develop comprehensive project schedules.

  • Advanced problem-solving, negotiation, prioritization, teamwork, relationship management, and process-oriented skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical abilities and a pragmatic approach to identifying risks, evaluating alternatives, and developing practical solutions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, budgets, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • High learning agility, organizational awareness, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic project environment.
  • Strong customer-service orientation and the ability to build trusted, sustainable relationships with key clients.
